Cosi opened in 1996. Previously we owned and operated restaurants in Melbourne for nine years before moving to Brisbane, where we worked in our Italian eatery, Natalinos, for 12 years. In establishing Cosi we have sought to create a family‑friendly restaurant specializing in authentic Sardinian cuisine.
Cosi has been successfully operating in the very competitive hospitality industry for twelve years.
All of the fresh produce used in our restaurant are products of Australia. Cosi uses Australian produce because of its high quality and also to support Australian industry. Cosi aims to provide quality food at reasonable prices. We offer an extensive take-away menu as well as one for children and can cater for special dietary needs.
Our chefs are fully qualified with many years experience in the hospitality industry. Cosi has an open kitchen which allows guests to witness the extraordinary skills of the Chefs and integrate its the hustle and bustle with the dining area to create an Italian family atmosphere. Head Chef is always visible and his hospitality is extended to guests several times a night when he circulates between tables greeting one and all and offering small delicacies from the kitchen, such as freshly roasted chestnuts during the winter months. Regular guests often place their dinner orders directly with Head Chef, such is the rapport that has been built up.

Our guests are the heart of our business and Cosi has many regulars who are known by name and treated as part of our big extended family.
